Gus has bosses in Germany?

Did anyone else catch the "legalese" inserted into the commercial that started last Sunday's episode?

"Los Pollos Hermanos, Inc. is a registered trademark of Madrigal Electromotive GmbH"

Hmmm. Looks like Gus may not be the head of the whole operation after all. Perhaps the whole thing is being run from overseas, with Gus only being the "US district manager" or whatever.

A big multinational corporation (in a technical sounding area of business) would certainly help explain how Gus is obtaining laboratory equipment and highly watched chemicals while only having a laundromat and chicken restaurants as a cover. And a German connection to Gus could possibly be explained by the influx of Germans who fled into South America after WW2 to escape responsibility for their wartime activities.

It looks like what we have seen so far could only be the tip of the iceberg...

It would also explain why his name, Fring, sounds German . . .

Gus himself is supposed to be south american though right?

Yes, some say he's Colombian . . .
