Hank Schrader

Hank Schrader is a fascinating character to me. He's like a Playboy magazine; you see the glossy, outward and garish cover (in his case, he's the atypical goofball, know it all blowhard), but when you open up the pages and read a few of the articles, you find moments of real pathos and introspection. He's MUCH smarter than many people give him credit for, and he cares deeply for his family.

I know his relationship with Walt is like a tightrope between outright love and care, to finding out just who Walt really is, and I like that they have this guy who's essentially a dork (exterior) and a wise one (interior) as Walt's would-be albatross. That he's related by law gives his character much more layers than just some random cop out to unmask Heisenberg.

What do you people think about Hank?

Surely SOMEONE has an opinion of Hank outside of my own?

When I first started watching BB, I didn't care for Hank at all. He just seemed too one-sided DEA agent to me, someone fished right out of Law and Order or something. But this season he really has come into his own, and I absolutely adore the actor that plays him. He's hilarious! It'd be sweet if he's the one that brings Walt down in the end.

I'll be honest, Hank is probably my least favorite character. I just find him annoying (which might be the point.)

My thoughts exactly.

yeah i guess some of his humor would get some peoples nerves but when hes around in most episodes it lightens the episode up a little bit well sometimes

I'm just waiting for the cat and mouse theatrics between Walt and Hank to begin; that's going to be awesome when it finally materializes fully.

i do have a feeling that when hank finds out that it could be walt it will be to late because walt is turning into Heisenberg even more and probably by that time he will take care of hank before he does anything
