Character you relate to most

Idea swiped from the IMDB forum. My response will be the same one I posted there......

Walter, it's really hard to explain and to see without really knowing me personally, but I just feel him, I can have a tremendous amount of empathy towards him. The pilot in particular, Just simple things like the way he carries himself,his obvious probably severe depression, kind of in the background sipping his wine at his party, quiet, how he kind of staring off into space, how he just swallows his anger and frustration at his life, day after day. it really reminded me of......myself to a T. How he lays in bed awake, brain churning about "how am I gonna do this, that" I really just saw myself. Heck, I even kind of dress like him even!

I feel like I can relate to him in other ways too, I myself am going into education, but feel like I could/should have done..........."more" I have a high IQ, and was always the "smart" kid in class, but I have hence watched my former classmates pass me in terms of jobs, friends, experiences, and colleges attending/attended. I also would/do put my family first above just about anything and anyone. I almost had a "Walter White" moment today, almost saying *beep* you to someone after what they told me at a job interview.......but I just bottled it up.

It really is hard to explain, but I just feel so much for/like Walt, and tbh the show/character has done a lot for me during some hard times I've been having, watching someone so much like me in an intriguing story helps in a way.

i really agree with you on the last part for me i would say im simalar to walt and jesse in a few different ways

i really was a smart student although i never really tried much right now im just trying to figure something to get my life on track but i would say charecters im closest two would be jesse and walt equally almost i would go more into it but you pretty much covered all of the walter part and well everyone knows how jesse is

somewhere in between Walt and Jesse. LIke Walt I'm pretty smart, but have seen others surpass me and like Jesse it seems no matter how hard I try things don't go my way, though that could apply to Walt as well I suppose.

I probably feel most like Walt Jr. Not that I have any kind of physical handicap, but he's kind of different from some of the other characters in that he doesn't have a huge bad side. He does some things like sometimes mouths off or has a bad attitude or breaks small laws, but I can't imagine him doing something really evil. I guess I also relate to his growing up in a house where both his parents have their own little worlds going on.

I agree with most everyone here. I relate to both Walt and Jesse.

I'm of above average intelligence and have had some success, but I've fallen a bit short of my potential so far like Walt has. Luckily, I've got my entire life ahead of me instead of being 50.

And, like Jesse, I do enjoy chilling, screwing off, and getting high (though not on anything as serious as meth or heroin).

That's why BB is such a great show, IMHO. You can easily relate to the main characters.
