The 1 Second Film is a non-profit collaborative art project being created by thousands of people around the world, including many celebrities.
'The 1 Second Film' is built around one second of experimental animation (made of 12 large collaborative paintings). The production is being financed largely online with the help of thousands of small donations; everyone who donates a dollar or more gets their name listed as a Producer in the movie's credits.[2][3] The film currently has over 11,000 producers from 68 countries. The end credits are estimated to last 90 minutes; a feature-length 'making of' documentary will play alongside the credits.
