Breaking Bad nominated for two TCA Awards.

Breaking Bad has been nominated for two awards in the television critics association's 2009 TCA Awards. It is nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Drama category as well as the Individual Achievement in Drama category.

"Breaking Bad's Emmy-winning star Bryan Cranston will compete against Damages' Glenn Close, House's Hugh Laurie, The Shield's Walton Groggins and AMC's own Jon Hamm (Mad Men) for the Individual award.

In the drama category, Breaking Bad is again up against AMC's Mad Men, in addition to NBC's Friday Night Lights, ABC's Lost and FX's The Shield.

Winners will be announced August 1st during a ceremony at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena, California."
