Well I was hoping to get a paid $12 an hour, 40 hours a week internship at a museum, but that fell through. I have since gone 0/10 so far with job applications/interviews. Staples asked if I would take a semester off to work during back to school (Uhh.......nope) and a convenience store said I wasn't experienced enough.
I have a year left of college, then another 1 1/2-2 years of Grad school. Hopefully in grad school I can work as tutor/substitute teacher type while I get certified as a "real" teacher.
BTW-you all better not ditch the forum over the "break"..............I've grown to like it here

I just started where I'm working a few months ago so have no vacation time so won't be going anywhere. Though even if I did I don't have the money to, though I might take a little weekend trip somewhere. Drive up/down/over Saturday morning and come back Sunday afternoon. Depends on what's going on within a 4 hour or so drive.

I was an asst manager at a convenience store, but I lost it. I got fired over some BS, but the real reason is they knew I'd put up a fight if they put me back on graveyard shift, so I am currently working in a warehouse for a fastners company (nut, bolts, screws, etc.) I have a degree from ECPI which is similar to ITT, and some certs, but no luck. Probably due in part to the fact I suck at interviews.

Re: what is everyones plans for summer
I actually got turned down at a convenience store today........odd coincidence.
Don't feel bad, I kind of suck at interviews too, I just can't BS very well, and I am in generally a very quiet, reserved, private person.
And Shawn.........ABQ is actually on my list of places I am looking to possibly relocate after Grad school (more teaching jobs) I am actually probably going to drive or fly out there next summer to check it out. My sister might move out there too, and has a college friend that lived on the Navajo nation land in NM, and now lives near ABQ so who knows what will happen

You like to write? Doing some Fan-fiction might fill some time. I'm thinking of maybe writing some. There is also the possibility of some games on the forum here, be they character elimination or roleplaying. Those can fill the void, keep us all active here, and be fun at the same time.
