Yeah you're right. It is odd that they have an ATC guy in there. I wonder what's up with that too. I guess we will have to wait 'till Sunday to find out.

Has anyone here seen the commercials for the finale on AMC? Not the preview that was shown right after Phoenix. They were regular commercial break commercials.

That's actually pretty brilliant. I've been wondering what Donald does, since he talked about 'training backup', but it didn't sound like was with law enforcement because when he wanted to call the cops on Jesse & Jane, he just dialed the regular number and asked for 'someone who can help' - someone in law enforcement would know exactly who to call. So it makes sense that he would be working there, especially with the title of this episode.

Yeah right when he's about to go under for surgery Skyler asks him if he brought his cell phone and he goes "which one". That's definitely the beginning of it but we don't know if that alone is what causes her to leave. Does she find the money after that, who knows? I guess we'll just have to wait 'till Sunday to find out.

Good question! I think that besides trying to figure out who's in those body bags that's the other big question that's been on everybody's mind. I'm pretty sure there isn't going to be anything else on tv that compares to Breaking Bad. We'll just have to wait it out. Transformers will be out June 24 but that's about it. Lol.

Are these actually spoilers though? I don't think they are because none of us know what's actually going to happen. We are only speculating. I thought a spoiler is when somebody has seen something in advance and then tells us what's going to happen. Like when certain mangas are released in Japanese before the English version comes out, somebody will read the Japanese version and then post a spoiler telling us what's going to happen before the English version is officially released.

The sneak peek on AMC shows Walt getting caught talking about his second phone. The commercial clip has Skyler calling Walt a liar. So who knows what else might be revealed to her. At any rate, she might be fortunate to have left if their house ends up in the middle of some kind of shitstorm!

I guess my point about spoilers is that there are plenty of purists who don't even want to know what's in the previews. I'm not one of them, mind you, but there are plenty of those sorts around.

For me, I can't help but catch every bit of preview that I can and wrack my brain trying to figure out where the story will go. Having said that, I'd be disappointed if I found out too much before viewing.

I think that they probably should be considered spoilers since there are people that don't watch the previews, commercials, or sneak peaks. But I don't think we should move this discussion unless Rob tells us that we should. As long as we keep spoiler tagging the stuff we see in previews, commercials and sneak peeks we should be fine.

I try to be careful about what I say out of respect for those who intentionally don't watch the previews and commercials, though I don't expect anyone else to and people need to be wary of message boards because a lot of times there is that one person who gets their jollies by ruining it for those who hate "spoilers."

I think Saul will end up being very instrumental in all of this. Remember, the Spanish speaking and stuff? He also probably had it spread around that Spooge's woman was responsible for the ATM, thereby destroying Heisenberg and Jesse's street cred. Also, there's a pretty intense review of the finale in Newsweek that gives a small spoiler away.

WOW!

That is an incredible review! DO NOT read it if you don't want to be exposed to any spoilers (there are small ones). It's in Newsday, by the way, not Newsweek. You can Google "Breaking Bad Finale" to find it.

To read such an emotional response from a professional reviewer is bringing tears to this middle-aged man's eyes. It just sounds as if it will be a very emotionally jarring experience. Here is a non-spoilish excerpt:

But this finale - yes, this one, entitled "ABQ" - quite literally made me double up in pain in the closing seconds. I drew in my breath, held it, then released it. I then posted this blog.

A promise, sworn on any book of faith you would wish me to swear this promise upon: This Sunday's "Breaking Bad," coupled with with last Sunday's "Phoenix," is the most extraordinary finale of the season. This is like nothing you have ever seen.

And once again, a prediction: "Breaking Bad" will be nominated for a best drama Emmy this July. If there is any justice, and often there is not, "Breaking Bad" will win in September. This is the best program on television, commercial or pay.

So, for the guy who posted that he doesn't trust professional reviewers, I hope you trust this one.

Me too! Not watching the previews is just ridiculous. Lol. I'm actually mad that I haven't seen the one that's airing now. I may have to see if I can catch it tonight. Anyhow I don't see how it could take away from the enjoyment of watching the show at all. It could only add to it, the anticipation, trying to figure out what's going to happen like you said. Peace!

How far down does the rabbit hole go?

Personally, that's the reason I watch this show. It doesn't pull punches. The Shield was another great show that worked the same way.

I want the darkness. I want the depravity. It's real and it's amazing. I get so tired of these shows that try and act all badass and then when push comes to shove they chicken out.

I'm jittery with anticipation for this finale. I just know I'm going to go into withdrawls after it's over, too. I don't know if I'll make it until early 2010 to watch more episodes. This show is honestly like a dose of the drug it revolves around!
